Site Lead Antti Niemi - what does Coach do in the management team?

In November 2024, Antti Niemi, an IT expert, certified trainer and Agile Coach, started as Bradleys' Site Lead in Helsinki.

In addition to his Site Lead role, Antti works as part of the Bradleys management team specifically in the role of a coach.

Why does the management team need one?

"IT companies often realize that teams need sparring. Instead, it may be forgotten that the management team is a team, just like the others," says Antti.

As a coach, Antti challenges the discussion and its ways in the management team. How to prioritize measures for growth, how to take care of things that are already working today, and what kind of new thinking and way of doing things will be needed in the future.

The management team's Coach can be seen as a support measure enabling the company's growth and development. At its best, coaching affects the work culture of the entire organization and enables not only genuine well-being but also more meaningful and productive careers.

The management of the future is increasingly a service profession, whose biggest challenges at the moment are, according to the 2024 Leadership Barometer of the Finnish Youth Chambers of Commerce, poor interaction skills and a bad work atmosphere.

According to Barometer, emotional intelligence and emotional skills will also be emphasized in leadership in the future.
